I never reliazed that i find myself doing childrens book illustrations.
A series I been doing for some time now is “The Kids who Travelled the World”
It has 3 books so far. Each, a story of two little girls travelling places around the globe.
First book was in PARIS.
Next was in Rome…
next was in their home town Thuder Bay, Canada
I really love doing this project.
It was based on two girls ( I can’t show their pictures) and real places they gone to.
Starts with a script and instructions. after that I pass rough sketches with pencil.
client comments on it and I adjust baseed on her comments and revisions.
Do a more refined penciling
and ink it. This part is really traditional…
and colour it in Photoshop. but make it look similar to traditional water colour, pastel and crayons.
The Client was very kind to send me references of how she wanted every image looked.
